Now here it is, the free animated water from Helix Games.
It's a seamless 16-frame water animation on a decal.
I spend lots of time on adjusting the Alphachannel.

Now, just enjoy it. If you are interested in other water types, you can buy our model pack (when it's finished), where you can find the water i was going to release before.

Here are some screenshots:

Use: Press "B" two times when using the decal, after that it fits into the grid. Pick the decal, adjust the height with the PageUp and PageDown keys. Place it where ever you like.

NOTE: The Installer is in GERMAN!

Looks good

But has everyone decided to release a water decal at the same time? Well, more choices I guess...

but we were the first who developed an animated, transparent water decal which looks pretty cool - only the Animated Sprite Pack was before us. (Look at the posting time of the first post)

The Pack... hum... i don't know...

It's finished if it's finished

Water decals are not as easy as some people may think and everyone whos release the water on these threads have all done a good job.

you can make it grayscale ^^

then you just have to add the alphachannel again and set it to... maybe 75 %

two other types of water are included in the Model Pack

it looks like you placed the decal simply on the map

but real water is not at the height of the ground, the surface is a little bit above the ground

Really?I can think of three people who released an animated water decal before you.
Still a nice water decal though.
Although if someone wanted to they could look in Tutorial city and find Higgins' tutorial and make their own animated water decal.

look at the posting date of the first post of the other thread (i think i called it "REAL Animated Water for FPS Creator" or something like that)
and compare it to the other threads

but that water is not for free, as i said, that's the difference to the others

Quote: "where to i put the files?"

hum... you execute the installer and install it into your FPS Creator Directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\ or on German systems: C:\Programme\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\ )
