okay, before i even buy the software, i want to know if once you complete creating your game, if you can burn it onto a cd, and play it on other computers. or do u have to play it only on your computer with the db?

you can burn it on a cd or put it on a website or some even fit on floppies. when you finish it it saves as a .exe file not as a db only file

DB will let you compile your games to an .exe file, which can be played on any PC running the right DirectX version and with good enough specs. You can burn this .exe and its media to a cd to share it with other people.

Whatever I did I didn't do it!

it's better to use the make final command from the File menu as this includes all of your media. Then burn it to a CD
