Not TGC, I'm fine logging on here (obviously ) But I haven't been able to log onto other forums. 3D World Mag (using phpbb) and Garagegames (The site, not just the forum) I'm not a real geek , so you caught me, I'm dumb with things like that. I'm gonna say its to do with internet file thingamajiggy thingies. Simply because I have been using one of those 'lets clean up my computer so it doesn't wind me up' programs, that deletes internet related files, unwanted registries etc.

So thanks to anyone who can shed light onto my problem.

You haven't really said what your problem is. You can't log in is not descriptive enough.

Well I'm not really sure what the exact problem is. But I have used a program to remove unwanted internet files and unwanted registry files, using a PC tuner program. The tuner program must have deleted something it shouldn't have that allows me to log in on those type of sites. I will try IE, just in case its a firefox problem. And I'll try it with Zone Alarm off (Don't worry I have other security beneath it)

[edit]
Well, according to the forum I am logged in on the list, but I am not actually logged in;

Cookies, Firefox is allowing them, but then according to Zone Alarm it has blocked over 1000 cookies in the last two weeks, perhaps it has decided to block those ones.

[edit]
Zone Alarm isn't the culprit

Nope didn't work.

As for the database error you get, I don't think it is the login thing, once in a while 3D world forums just has a database error.

Hrm I have google web accel installed on all of my computers. Haven't run into a problem with it yet, was there a setting that you had to change or did you just uninstall it?

I just turned it off, didn't bother with the settings, a sudden though said, perhaps its that, so I closed it, but I could try to see if I can logon whilst accel is on by playing with it.

Nice quote, I like Aristotle, I think I'm gonna steal his idea of virtue ethics.

Depends, you willing to pay for my ticket, texas is rather far away, plus UK airports are on edge because of an attempted terrorist attack, they'd arrest me on sight under suspicion.
