I kind of stole the link from the cool links thread, but I wanted to talk to you all about it, because I found it quite funny.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=9076288729387457440

So I think it could be good to get some feed back of what others think of it, or maybe its just a British thing and no one else will find it funny.

I watched both of them and I found it very funny. The ending of the second one is particularly good.

Who knew the British could produce humorous television...

They were good-- but I had a hard time finishing the 2nd as it was so close to the dialogue in the office. Would have been nice to see some more originality.

But that's cool if they actually showed this to new MS UK employees

before i waste my precious time (so precious I sat listening to the theme song for "Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizzards" for an hour) clicking on links, could someone tell me what it is generaly about so i can justify using my precious mouse clicks clicking on it?

EDIT: but seriously that tune for "Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizzards" is really catchy. with a mods permission i could upload it here. I don't think it's Illegal. It comes from a game made in 1989, that I bought a legal copy of when it was in stores. it's just the theme song, it contains no version (part or full) of the actual game.

Okay, I just finished the 2nd one, and Megs you're right about the end of the second one.

And then the hilarious bloopers at the end...

@Zaibatsu - Here's a tip: Don't upload anything here that you didn't create.

If you really want to go through all that, then email thegamecreators.com support site and ask them. I'm not the owner of TGC and stop asking me these kinds of questions.

Man, I hate Ricky Gervais, I find he is very unfunny, I didn't laugh at the episode of the Simpsons he wrote, I didn't laugh in Valiant, I didn't laugh when I gave the office a chance.

But its your sense of humour, not mine, but I just can't relate to his humour.

But if you think he's funny for british TV, look at some of the other british comedians, I'm sure you already know of Bill Bailey and Eddie Izzard, Jasper Carrot is quite funny, the Monty Python movies and series and pretty much anything with John Cleese in is hilarious.

One word... painful... a few more words... physically and mentally painful.

I lay upon my bed one bright clear night, and gazed upon the distant stars far above, then I thought... where the hell is my roof?

Good on Musashi for being straight while still sounding valid. Too many "[X] is not funny and that's fact" posts around.

I find I rate humour not on how *funny* the actual content is but how much humour/laughs is packed into a certain timeframe. I spent 40 mins of my time watching both those parts, and I'd say it was an average amount of humour, maybe paced abit too slowly sometimes. But shows such as Chappelle's show really manage to crack me up as they pack a ton of funny into skits ranging from 30 seconds to 2-8 minutes.

I guess so, the people that I know that work in an office like it. But then, me I'm not an office type person, you'll never see me sit in a stuffy cubicle all day at a computer screen (Yet I do in my room...)

Yeah, I'm more of the kind of person who prefers to watch comedy that starts me laughing and keeps me laughing, but I don't mind the slow humour as long as I find it funny, watching some comedians make me laugh so much it literally does hurt, now thats your proper comedian.

I didnt like the Simpsons episode he wrote either, it was quite crap. I dont think I like him either, but I still laughed at what he said. I wonder if he is really like that, when hes not acting, or if he is and hes just a complete boob.

I thought it was very funny. I love 'the Office' because I can relate to having worked with people like him and the other characters. Its cringe-worthy humour and Gervais is very good at making himself the fool without being rediculous.

What I did find distasteful was the fact that Ricky and Stephen have sold out to do a Microsoft corporate video! Considering I am pretty sure he said he wouldn't do the character again, I wonder how big the wad of cash was to make him change his mind. Myself and Nelson Mandela are very disappointed.

I dunno--- nowadays if I pop in a Monty Python episode, I find it hard to finish. When I was younger I couldn't get enough of it, but now I don't find it funny at all. I can still watch all of Fawlty Towers and laugh, but the canned laughter throws me off.

Yeah laughing track is always annoying, its okay to have a real audience laugh with a stand up comedian, but in a show it doesn't work, because they laugh when you don't and it interrupts it a bit, I think things like Absolutely Fabulous would be funnier with out the laughing.

I am a bit of a britcom buff myself, in the last few years I loved things like The Office, Black Books, Big Train (series 1), 15 Storey's High, People Like Us, Green Wing and Human Remains... but never found Ab Fab anything more than mildly amusing.

Joana Lumly is great, in fact the 3 main characters are good (Sawalla couled be better), but I find I just don't laugh at it. I really can't see what so many people see in that series.

I have vague plans for World Domination
