Hi All

I am working on a game at the moment which has a working title Irish Guard, this I may change. The game it's self is based in 1940 and is centred on Dunkirk and the escape of the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) back to England, which should make for an interesting story line. I've done some research and also got some screen shots meanly showing the starting point in the game. The other levels I have not decided on yet, but I'll keep you all posted.

This one I am not that happy with the window is not lined up with the top window, but I'll sort that out at some stage. Screen 3

I like the screenies and the flag looks nice. why isnt there a ceiling?
But i like it so far, keep going. I also like the games name .

Ok I've updated some of the screen shots, many of them you've already seen. I've just updated them; I am going more for quality here.

I created it in Milkshpe and used MagicFPS to add different textures and also to resize it, so there all the same hills just resized.

I think this looks VERY nice, the lighting and textures fit together really well. What framerate do you get?

Outta curiosity, did you make the textures, or get them from a pack like the WW2 one on this site?

To get your lamp to 'glow' in the last screenshot, place the light just in front of the lamp mesh, while in the editor. Sometimes you have to place 2 lights close together to get all the faces to glow. This goes for streetlamps, etc. as well. Nice work so far.

Yea I bought the WW2 pack from here also plan on using there 3D Models from it to, but I think I may need to import them into Milkshpe and re-texture them with one texture file.

I am getting 33FPS, now that’s without AI attacking. Now I've only just compiled the FPs Creator source, so that will be interesting to see how that goes, I'll keep you all posted on that.

@KeithC I'll give that ago with the extra lamp.

OK used full shader and the new compiled FPS source code, I am going to hold back on using the new FPS code updated by empty until I've tested. The game did feel abit slow and I think the shader was causing it. I am going to finish this level of and then move onto the next level.
