Rise of the ToonGoonz is a kids FPS made entirely with cartoon graphics. Rise of the ToonGoonz is probably the first cartoon game ever made with FPSC. Sure the cartoon pack is neat, but this is proper cartoon graphics, as you can see in the attached test picture.

I'd be glad to hear any comments, suggestions, or death-threats you may have.

UPDATES

:First level will be set in a hotel
:Is no longer a 'kids' game.
:Arena modes for MP and 1-p
: Demo being fixed now...

That is easy make the texture in paint-brush. After convert to .dds(DDS Converter 2) or .tga.

SIXOFT - This is not just a game, this is a SIXOFT game.

it's not the first cartoon-game but nice idea

i am working on a cartoon shader which displays black lines around the entities
with a little conversion you can get a cartoon shader to work in your game

may try that

(see "New Shaders in FPSC? Look here"-Thread)

Thanks for all your comments ppl. I'm h=going to check out that shaders thing (sounds like a cool idea) As for Johnny English, I'm aware that it's not hard to make, but just bare in mind the time I'm putting into it.

PS: Will check out Lons game.

Nice Idea. I think the textures could have been better. Look like Raw Defuse.

Nue B. or not Nue B. That is the question.

Experiment with the "Fat Boy" tool in Milkshape. What it does is creates a copied backward normal model slightly larger than the real one. The effect ends up looking like black drawing lines around your model and it looks like a cartoon. The only bad thing is it doubles your polygons, but if they are simple enough it may not be an issue.

Thanks. I've just finished the demo, but it's come out a little flawed, so the final demo should be out tomorrow.

I like the way you think. That tunnel was a re-textured version of a tunnel I found on the forums. It may not be the smoothest shot I've released, but I like it. (also I resized it)

Cheers!
