was just wondering if there was a program where you can uv map like in wings3D(the one where you place the shapes on a background and it shows up on the model)realy need it thanks
(then ill be able to finish my medievil(sorry for spelling) shield and ill have a go at getting my shotgun in fpsc(first real gun)

I could teach you how to make a uv map like the one i made for your shotgun...

if you had time, Zaibatsu, could you make a uv mapping tuorial, ive tried before but had no luck uv mapping anything.

found a uv mapper in 3ds max thanks anyway

gunna use bonds tut

btw do i take the uv map you made for my shotgun into a 2d painting program like paintshop pro 7

am having trouble cloning the image,how do i change it to greyscale or change it for 24bit colour

do you mean exporting your UV map? if so you can use a free plugin utility named texporter, which will render the map, and you can save it as a bitmap
