I cant see why people have to lie?

It looks awful, thats what I think. It is just a big rectangle textured white.

I took a look at the texture when I downloaded the file. The texture...well, to be honest and keep this constructive; the texture is pretty bad. It looks like you used Paint for the texture, and didn't tend to stay in the lines so to speak. I suggest (if you don't have the money to buy PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro) that you download GIMP, and start to look into 2D texturing. Looking at you screenshot, and then at your texture map, it appears that the UV Map and Texture Map are not lined up properly.

Keep at it, you've got a lot of work to do, but don't give up. It can get frustrating at times. I'd also suggest that you do your own UV Maps, textures, and modeling; in order to get a feel for the whole process.

I've never used the Max UV Mapper before; for a great collection of 3DS Max Tutorials by Ben Mathis, click here.

If you can swing the $50, then I highly recommend Ultimate Unwrap 3D.

Hope this helps a bit.
