I just realized I didn't make a general-purpose male civilian for the upcoming model pack, well here it is.

In game shots:

I also have been messing around with something that will take my models to a new level...baking ambient occlusion maps.

What does this mean to you? Well basically it means that the models will look EXACTLY the same in-game as they do in the 3ds max renderer. Check out my nurse character below, the one on the left is the standard texture, and on the right I've baked ambient occlusion into the texture. I think everyone will agree the one on the right is MUCH better, it has better shading, and looks pretty much like a render.

So I'm doing this with ALL of my characters, I really want to finish the pack next week.

Bond...

Okay, after I get done with "Zodiac Warriors", which will consume my funds to get the customs, I'm so buying this pack! For the setting I have in mind for my next game, this pack will be a godsend.

I like the nurses boobs. I could look at them all day while she shoots me with a shotgun.

Weird. On Friday night, I was talking to a graphic designer friend who models with Max, but doesn't use it for creating characters for games, and he suggested "baking occlusion maps" - and I didn't have a clue what he was talking about, so I disagreed with him, and said: "No, that'd never work."

Shows how little I know.

Lovely work, Bond. Can't even begin to tell you how smug my friend is going to be when I show him your screenies. That's what I get for using my ignorance as a shield, i s'pose.

Excellent work, bond1.

The general-purpose male just looks like he did it.... whatever it was, he did it. He needs killin'. And that nurse, I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. She's hiding something, for sure.

No reflection on you, Luke314pi.

Whoa, once again, great job Bond! Now I'm tied up between this, Corepack Vol 2, and the warehouse pack. So many to buy, so little money to spend

An MIB is not that difficult to find; you can probably find one on TurboSquid if you know where to look.

Bizarre... I actually dreamt that I purchased a pack that contained the following:

Policeman, women civilians - including a nurse and a supermodel type, male civilian and gas pump attendent... They had afrocentric alternatives too...

Look forward to model pack 3!

Thanks. Actually, this will probably be called Model Pack 4.

It will be released hopefully by the beginning of September. In a few days I will be shipping everything off to Rick Vanner, financil director of TGC. After that, it's just a matter of setting up a place on the website.
So very soon...

Well no, all the civilians in this pack have more casual type clothes.

BUT, after this pack is released I will be making a totally free character as a gift to the community. I could make a man in a business suit, it would certainly fit with the rest of the models.

But I'll probably hold some type of poll first.
