My X file has more than one texture, how do I specify more than one texture for an Object?

Thanks!

i don't think you can, fpsc allows only one texture, otherwise someone would have used multiple textures already, but im sure someone will come here right away and correct me.

yes, it can, the method is simple.

you see, when you specify a texture in the texture variable, FPSC assigns that and that only to the whole model, regardless of its texture assignments made integrated to the model.

thus, all you need to do is not specify any texture at all, instead, assign the textures in the model from within your 3D modelling software

hope that wraps it up

Thanks so much Jon!

That worked. I simply hit Enter when prompted for a texture and all of my various textures from my 3D modeler mapped properly.

Thanks, I don't think my test file has any of those, just straight stone textures. I exported a model of an arch from the 3D library in Carrara out as a 3DS file then converted it to .X with Flux Studio, that seemed to work rather well.
