OK me and some friends no some basic and C++ and want to make a game for just us. MOst of these questions will just be about the engine before we buy. 1st question can C++ be used at all or just basic? 2nd can it be used to make an mmo? 3rd once u buy can u sell what ever u make our r there restrictions? i think thats it thanks for readinga newbies questions.

1) You can make DLL's in C++ to be used in DBP, but in DBP itself no, C++ can't be used.
2) It's possible but very difficult, don't expect to churn one out in 2 months .
3) No restrictions, you can sell what you make.

o ya im defently not expecting to get this done with in a couple months more like a year. Also can i export models from maya into dark. and is there a place i can check out games that were made with this, all ive founda re screens.

seems that pros games have better graphics. Does that have anything to do wit hit or just who makes it?

1) DB an dDBPro are strictly basic, but you can buy Dark SDK, which, I believe, is for use with C++

The skill of the programmer of course matters, but it is true that DBP games generally look much better, because I believe it uses a newer version of direct x (not completely sure, but quite sure), and it has shader support, plus a whole lot more command! If you are going to get one or the other, get DB Pro! I got classic first, then updated to Pro, and I do not regret the upgrade in the least bit!
