I write the newsletters - other than articles written by specific people like Grant, Steve and Kevin.. although it has to be said other than Steve I often spend ages needing to spell check and proof read their stuff! Great coders they may be, but I swear they failed English class sometimes
(and I'm sure I miss loads of their mistakes too)
I do all the graphics you see in the newsletter, including the covers for the most part. If I'm running really low on time I'll buy a cool piece of stock art from iStockPhoto, Dreamstime or Renderosity to use as backgrounds. This month for example was an illustration from Dreamstime, tweaked for the newsie. All graphical headers, screen grabs, etc (and most other covers) I design myself. Simon hasn't done any cover art for nearly a year I don't think.
We're coming up to the 48th issue, which may not sound particularly special, but it signifies 4 *years* worth of newsletter work from me. When I look back over all the back issues that is hell of a lot, and it's amazing how TGC has changed during that time.
