Every time I try to create a 2D program the background flashes like crazy. But if I create a 3d object the flashing stops... How do I keep the background from flashing without creating a 3d object?

errr...have you tried using the Sync command to refresh the screen? make sure you set backdrop to off as well .. hope it helps.

cls at the beginning... it happens on mine too i just have to include cls as the first line in every program I do in 2D
