Does anyone know for sure when saving a DDS file which of the properties for the DXTc format the DDS file should be saved in for FPSC ?

Is it... DXT1, DXT3, or DXT5 ?

Thanks.

It can be ANY dxt format. For general purpose textures that don't need transparency, use DXT1. If you need transparency with the use of an alpha channel use DXT3 or 5.

DXT3 is adequate if you need a fixed tranparency.

If your alpha channel has a smooth gradient that includes shades of gray, then use DXT5.
