Ah, the impossible-to-find Concorde. I've modded MSFS04 8 ways from Sunday and I have a Concorde, but it doesn't work lol. Simviation has some pretty cool mods, as does AVSims. You should visit Flight Sim Insider for a good list of websites that feature downloads... you should be able to find a WORKING Concorde there somewhere.

And for anyone who cares: My flight around the world is going great, I'm already in Naples Italy When I'm finished, I'll put pics up and stuff. Shy of an emergency landing in the Iraq desert (crossed the border and wham, massive electrical system failure) and a lot of fuel management issues, it's all going well I am the king of the flight sim nerds!

Yeah, I found some decent planes but no Concorde yet lol, ill check those sites out as well...

I flew to France from heath-row the other day and that to a while, ( the far east of France ).

And yeah, I was hoping you replied to this thread LOL.

I can't wait until MSFSX comes out, it looks so pretty The Concorde I got was from avsim, but it totally sucks... the gauges don't work properly, and neither do most of the key avionics, like FLAPS and LANDING GEAR (ugh). But the nose goes up and down... I guess that's sort of, somewhat, kind of cool

I just flew into Pisa Italy a short while ago... Within the next few days I'll be in London, then Greenland, then I'll be done, probably by the end of next week. I'm just hoping I don't have any more complications, like, say, a massive electrical failure at 20k feet it sucked, I had to land in Iraq, in the desert sand, with no flaps, while manually pumping my landing gear (no batteries, no hydrolics). I had random failures turned on (as I always do) and that was the first time in the entire flight that anything bad happened. But no one has ever flown around the world flawlessly without some sort of technical issue, large or small. Except flight sim people. I might be the first person ever to fly around the world in a Beechcraft King Air, with no slewing and no simulation rate changes, with 100% realism and realistic failures set up again... I am king of the flight sim nerds lol

Haha!

Yeah, I haven't had a failure yet, <cross fingers>. All I know how to do is take off, and fly... I know how to use some of the controls etc ....

Landing on a run way is hard for me LOL! I just land anywhere I flew to New york from exeter yesterday, but turned the speed up because of that big ocean haha.. I haven't had the wind screen ice up yet either.. even with the de-ice off...

100% realistic here to

I haven't tried setting up failures yet.. and thats probably why I haven't had one LOL.. Im going to try that later in a boeing 737 or, another Boeing lol..

Is that your Yahoo IM address? or don't you use one?

I haven't had yahoo turned on in a long time, there's probably a million messages sitting there waiting for me lol.

When you do failures, try them in a small plane first, like a Cessna Skylane or something like that. When one engine gives out, you need to rely on your rudder to keep the plane even long enough for a landing, and that can be pretty tasking in a big boy like a 737. I suggest taking all of the piloting courses... get your pilot's lisences, and in that you'll learn how to land on runways, and you'll learn quite a bit about failures too.
