Yello

I don't normally post much vectors on here when I make them, but I particularly liked the way this one came out. I made it to go as my banner for my Computer Love blog page. It's supposed to represent some of my interests I think.

Clicky to view large version of banner

Clicky to view banner already on Blog page

Not really supposed to serve any purpose or deliver any message. Just a wierd thing up there to grab attention.

couldn't see the blog page, so it might be part of the design of the rest of the page... but shouldn't the bottom left hand corner be white?

is your world really just sushi, laptops and joysticks? nothing else that hits a bit deeper? maybe like art work or something?

personally i don't like the phrase "my world", it sounds at best kitsch and at worst high camp, it makes me think of trashy teen shows from the 90's... But that's just me.

Its a nice design, if a little spacey, its well made and it uses colour pleasantly.

PS: sorry if i come off as harsh/rude/offensive to your very being, its the way i am.

PPS:shouldn't this be in 2D? tssk tssk!

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Interesting. I like it because from what I know of you, those icons are 'Your World'?

Huh? How much of my world do you think I can fit on a 660x140 canvas?

But seriously, it's a giggle banner. It's obvious design is part of my life, but it's not like this banner is my life story. Funny how you left out the most importent icon though, my aiki philosophy and aikijutsu training. Life's not all about the glowing humming machine on/under your desk.

"Omfg the creator of this banner is one shallow bastard"

Nope.

And you're right, "my world" sounds too teen girl. I just thought of it on the spot. It's been renamed to something more proper.

Nope, it's no worry. I've stepped on your head a few times in the past for kicks, so this type of post from you is understandable.

EDIT: Blog link should work now.

I used to have one of those signs, but then realized how annoying it was...

"cat life" is a much better addition

well, i don't read japanese, for all i knew they could have said "My World" again, or possibly "if you read this, you're gay!" So i decided to keep my mouth shut on a subject i know nothing of.

That's fine, I didn't expect you too. Just don't make assumptions from everything you see.

Very nice Megaton. What do you use to make your vector banners?

I'm working on a high res photorealistic texture pack. High res as in 7 megapixels, e-mail me with suggestions.

Now that's the only type of speech I understand out of Fallout.

Dink: I use Flash for raw vectors and Fireworks for editing.
