I have problem, im try to lern how to texture models using Unwarp.

1. I create simple model


2. I try to export UVmap

Grr, why texture dont work :/

Please help, waht i do wrong :/

alot of the time with uv maps i find is that you have to overlap the edges a bit, and the black is making it transparent, but it still looks kwl, would be awesome for a futuristic game!

ok why are you uv mapping in Unwrap , cuz it looks like its just assighning the whole texture to each group. and if you have milkshape why are you useing a different program to uv map in?just use milkshape. its much easier. google some milkshape tuts and you will see. Crossing over to different programs when you dont have to only causes problems. Stick with one for as much as you can.

yes, u can also texture in cinema 4D which i got 2day dunno how to use it tho...

yes milkshape is by far the easiest to texture in. All my models are done in milkshape and milkshape alone.

milkshape does not export textures! I suggest you learn your software before posting stuff, I have told you all you need to know.

if you have the texture your going to use for it you can skinit in milkshape, man how hard...never mind i give up

it seems you didnt saved the model to have the UV map coordinates!

thats why it does weird!
