I have recently purchased a Belkin Wireless G Ethernet Adapter FSD 57330, and have a connected it to my mac, in order to pick up a signal from a router elsewhere. However even when plugged into the mains, the ethernet adapter shows that it is not on, and no power is going through it.

Anyone know why this happening?

Any help would be appriciated

Have you tried it on another computer?
If it still doesn't work, I'd try trading it out for a new one.
