Install directory? On ur harddisk? it usually installs in a subfolder called "Blender Foundation". Is that what u r looking 4?

go to www.blende.org, and select the seattle based mirror, that's the one I used.

Thanks, I got it now...
Does blender have vertex's in it? (I mean so I can put a heap of vertex's around a picture, then put faces on it...extrude etc.)

you can do pretty much anything you want in blender man, read the manual and or swearch the blender forums

if you are a beginner, blender may be a little to much for you, I recommend anim8or, it is free and really easy to use.

If he is a new guy than blender would be the best tool , that way he has no preconcieved notions with a program.

Ahhhh....I can around christmas time...

Reason? Because the computer Department (oh crap...he's right behind me..) is a fat butt head...and won't let us on certain things...like MSN.
