Hi does anyone know how can i softmod my xbox without spending any money. (preferably with the ability to install linux on to my xbox hard drive). Thankyou for reading this thread and 100x thankyou if you can help me.

www.xbox-linux.org - that's got everything you need to know about what you're trying to do, it's what i did mine with.

Edit: Seems as though that site might be offline at the moment, but try again in a while.
