A project that I put on the shelf for several months is finally coming around. I've opened the site as of tonight, complete with 17 skycubes in various themes.

Now that I've got that part setup I'll begin work on extending my skucube libraries with fresh new concepts and categories. I'll hopefully be adding 2 or 3 new skycubes per week.

Please come by and take a peek...you might find something you like.

Good looking site. May I ask why you require people to "register" befor downloading content? Just curious as I see a lot of people do it.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

It's necessary for my PayPal plugin to function correctly in the CMS (tracking and support issues). Also, I plan on putting together a newsletter for mailout.

OK, first 20 people to buy 2 or more skycubes get 2 free! That's right, I said 2 absolutely free.

Thanks, Keith. The $99.00 was worth it for the Subdreamer CMS. Not too friendly with Flash elements, but I finally figured it out.

Thanks, tschwarz. I also added your site to my links section. When are you going to release SKIES for the general public?

Thanks for the link, I will add a link back to you from the Skies page. It's pretty much ready, just need to create purchase links, In the meantime I got side tracked on another project. Hope you do well, your skyboxes look really good.

9/12/06 updates...

So that everyone can see what the skycubes actually look like live in FPSC, I'm going to start adding in-game video previews to the 'More Info' section of each cube.

Here's an example from a new cube I haven't posted yet from the Low Orbit Series. This series will feature several cubes in a low orbit theme with moons, planets, and varies space stations, satellites, etc.

For Broadband Users (320x240, 1.5MB bitrate)

Low Orbit Series - LO1
