...then the chances are when you go to delete them, it comes up with a system error, and it won't be erased. I had that problem with a program called "Drive Cleaner 2006 Free" and even Spybot didn't recognise it as a spy, but I did. As a last ditch attempt, I went into db and wrote:

I executed the program, exited and went back into "My Computer", into the C:\ drive, the directory was still there but was empty of all files. All the directories inside were also empty, I went back out of the directory and deleted it, no problem at all. Well done to db, you can delete spyware!

that is so cool, I wonder though if it is only for certain spyware(the little ones), since i know that a few months ago my brothers computer crashed from some sort of spyware, and it was really serious. He ended up going to Geek Squad, which i think over charges their service sometimes , but the point is they fixed it.

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

Chances are though, some of the files shall be recreated, you REALLY gotta watch out for this... check the system registary etc.., usually best to google on how to extract / remove a piece of spyware from your computer.

Most spyware is generally installed legally though, considering some software licences *if you read them fully* say that by accepting it you are also allowing them to install a 3rd party application blah blah..
