For all those that have google earth, find your city or town (not house) and post a snapshot of it.
The rest of us must guess the city or town, the person that guesses correctly gets to post their picture of the city or town they live in and so on and so forth.

note: include a notable building or landmark in the picture please
note: if the landmark is not too obvious you may post a clue.

I shall start with
My clue: oldest recorded town of a certain country that once ruled a quarter of the globe

Note: no need for google earth just any pic of your town or city will do fine

Well, somewhere in England... I'll take a random shot in the dark and say London, lol.

I'm working on a high res photorealistic texture pack. High res as in 7 megapixels, e-mail me with suggestions.

Well I haven't got time to download and use google earth, but it won't help anyway.

Lets say a very famous man was born there, who ended the English civil war where after Monarchy lost power. If you want to put that into a differant perspective, its my town's fault that we have to put up with Blair, if you must think of it like that.

So, his initials are, O.C. and he was a Puritan.

Other clues, in the area famous people, Musashi, David Jason and John Major live (in the area, not the town), also Charlie Simpson (Busted/Fightstar) went to school here...And well earlier they had royalty in the town center...

Easiest clue, is the first one. Remember English history, find out who OC is and google him for his birthplace .

In replacement of the google earth thing....uhhhhh...around Cambridge...tooo easy...

[edit]
Oh what the heck, theres a 'Great Ouse' flowing through it.

Everybody knows the giant chicken is in Marietta.

Some guy asks, "How do you get to GA 400?"
Other guy says, "Go just south of the giant chicken and get on 285 head west you'll see the exit."

Lock this please, people will not listen. Then again All other games end up either starting up then slowly degrading or they just don't start up well, I shall open a new thread and clearly state the rules.
