i still use default,i cant make logical sense out of CodeSurge...

however it appears to be the best free alternative as what i know...

You can also get the Synergy IDE separate from Omega Basic. I'm trying out that and CodeSurge right now, and like them both better than the default IDE.

CodeSurge is free, and Synergy IDE retails for around $20 if bought on its own. However, they also have a couple weeks left on an offer to use Synergy IDE free through the end of September. If you go to the Digital Zenith forum in the Support area you should see a post for that.
