Ok lets start by saying that Milk Paton is a pretty sweet series, and I'm not trying to steal thunder.

I've been busy working on a pilot for an internet video game program called teh w00t show. I've probably talked about it befor econsidering I've been working on it since January. I finally crawled out of the editing lair to bring the sweet pilot out into mov format for web download!

Teh w00t show is a 30 minute comedy and review show baed on video games and video gaming culture! Watch as our crazy trio get up to all manner of mischief and ok whatever with the big spiel I ain't pitching to you guys for sponsorship so download and be happy. and tell me what you think.

you may need a codec for mpg4, I am not sure cause I've only watched it on the edit machine which obviously has it, but i've experienced some machines that seem to be missing it.

full version 108mb .mov file
http://rmitv.rmit.edu.au/downloads/twsep1.mov

for smaller parts, part 1 (the sketches) 48mb .mov
http://rmitv.rmit.edu.au/downloads/twsep1p1.mov

part 2 (the reviews)
http://rmitv.rmit.edu.au/downloads/twsep1p2.mov

my publicity dude spammed a bunch of forums he goes to, and as a result my forums where i posted the links have since died :x seriously chewed up invisionfree bandwidth! god help me if i updated my show's main website with the link!

I've been looking forward to this more than some of the other shows (sorry Drew)--- can't wait to check it out when I get home. Mainly because I find Australian accents entertaining

Funny vid man. Almost informative too. Started working on the second one yet?

Only thing I would really complain about is the sound man! Why does everyone munch up the sound on these vids? I had to sit moving the volume slider all the time as it went from dead silent to really loud. Very annoying. Video was cool though. Nice use of the green screen and lots of cool graphics and images for transitions.

Any chance of encoding it to a wmv format or something equally as small?

Um... interesting clothing styles

It was not bad--- overall I think your character was the best though as the off-scene camera dude. Good job.

thanks, how did you recognize me! I was also the hold it buster punk. I have since had a hair cut.

We plan on episode 2 being a musicalish episode, with lots of game music references and dance performances including a rendition of thriller.

Really? I would never have guessed!!!! ...... That bit was one of the better bits too. Here's one nomination for best supporting actor.

If you do game music, please get it loop properly man. I kept quiet before, cos I thought I'd bashed the sound enough, but I could here the errors in all the looping music. Scccchhhmoooth transition man. Schmoooooth for my musical lug holes. Btw, for the sound, you could save yourself a lot of heartache by just exporting the audio, if possible, and running it through a compressor in cool edit or something. That'll bring all the volumes into line with a clickety click of a mouse buttonae, then reimport, and just double check to make sure everything is still properly lip synced. Spiffing.

Looking forward to the next one. I'd probably get in on this video series making craze, but unfortunately I dont have any friends. I had one once, but he melted and just left his scarf, carrot and a few pebbles as his legacy.

haha yeah tweaking the loops to make them sync was a pain, and they still don't match up fully. the music and audio was a rush job to get it done. Next episode we will have music made specifically for us instead of me grabbing bits off the net and playing with them.

Well, I've just watched through the first chunk of it and then breezed through the rest of the vid. (Sorry bud, just couldn't hold my attention )

As someone already stated, the audio is horrible. At first I could hardly hear the voices so I turned up the volume, but then at certain points it hurt my ears because the effects were too loud. Just unproffesional overall.

Probably just me, but the random squeaks of humour weren't really to my fancy. It's wierd, as I love random humour, but this style sorta confused me.

Overall a good effort, though I don't think anywhere as good as PurePwnage. Also the name is...just dumb. Sorry, you need a more memorable name rather then something that sounds like a youtube podcast.

Keepu up the work.

That was the best bit. You reminded me a lot of the bad guy from The Warriors, know who I mean?, the rocker dude who shot Sirus - just that insane pitched voice - no offense, he's the best baddie in any 70's movie ever!.

Personally I'd like to see you guys just play videogames, get stoned, argue - I'm not sure I see the need for so many sketches - really you should have a LAN party, film it, and grab all the good and funny bits - have mad gaming challenges, and let the humour be more natural, because I imagine your all fairly funny guys without a script.

How about you grab Heroes for the XBox, play a level, and add your own voice overs (like you did with the Heroquest vid) - it's 3-players at once, looks fairly cool, but besides that I'm sure that just messing about will get some laughs on it's own. Stuff like that might lead to a mini-series sort of thing, and that's what will keep people coming back, to see if gumboil the dwarf managed to get the Valkyres bra off afterall.

Just some thoughts.

Heh, I think my favorite part was the
"Honey, I'm being Noobed!"
"No, you're being owned... by a wall. With a door. My God, you are being noobed!"

Though I liked the "Hold it Buster Bit" a lot also. I actually recognized you instantly Wigget...and I wish I had a handgun vending machine near me...
