I've been listening to podcasts for over a year now. The reason?
Its the only place to get commentary about videogames (as all radiostations, TV channels ignore games. And when they don't its embarissing.) All the Podcasts about games listed below are better than any TV/radio channel has ever managed, so without further ado - the list:-

1UP Yours - from 1UP network - amusing and informative (has swearing). Think they do a video cast aswell.
PC Gamer Podcast - Again amusing and informative - focusing on PC games.
Gamespot presents the Hotspot - light hearted but always about games (possibly occassional swearing) also do a video cast.
Gamespot presents Designer Threads - long and interesting interviews with game designers. (Latest one with John Romero)
DS Life Podcast - (new) for the nintendo DS
CGW podcast - name may change as Computer Gaming world is soon to become the Official Games for Windows Magazine.
Gamers daily - (now sadly dead) but the old casts are still downloadable - all about indie games - the place where I learned about Narbacular Drop (now Portal soon to be released with HL2:EP2)
There are others like IGN and EGM, the videogame show but I find them straying from the topic far to often.
(If you've never looked at podcasts - get itunes from apple.com and then click on music store and then podcasts - search for any of these and you should get them.) "

Come let me whisper by Russell Burt - short stories and novels (ghost, horror and scifi)
Science friday - brilliant podcast about nothing but science and scientific issues.
The Animation podcast - brilliant podcast with many interviews with many of the great disney animators. Good to listen to - if you're an artist.
