I have just entered this entry into the horror music contest and i thought some of you might like to listen to it here, or indeed include it in your projects. The file is attached in .ogg format ( I believe this is the correct FPSC music format ). I call the track, Running from the Beast. Enjoy

it's a good format. works in FPSC and is about one tenth the size of a wave file.

OGG is the free answer to MP3 files. If you use MP3 files commercially you need to pay a fee, with OGG you don't need to.

Wehtam, the music is OK, but it's a bit repetitive. I'm not even sure if I would call it music, it's more like an ongoing sound with variations in it.

the size differnce in mp3 and OGG isn't very signifigant, wav and ogg and way big difference though.

And if you'll excuse me I must go watch a Star Wars film and fall asleep drinking orange soda and reaing a book. (none of that nasty NEW star wars films, I'm watching Return of the Jedi: Special Edition tonight!)

What is the license on this music?
Can we use it in a commercial or non commercial game?

Ever listened to the Silent Hill soundtrack ? Exactly the same, arguably one of the greatest horror soundtracks around. It was my sole inspiration to make something ambient and repetative, just like Silent Hill

I used Techno Ejay 5 to make it, according to their forum i can indeed use the music for commercial projects, so that would be a yes.

I'm sure you probably already know this but FPSC is having a level design competition and it is horror-themed.
This would go great in a horror level.
