Firts hello to everyone.

Second, I'm sure you've noticed and discussed thousands of times about this, but I'm not able to find a really good solution to my problem.

The IA which comes with the program is crappy.

I've found in these forums lots of IA scripts from you, but theyre all like Zombi IA, or Ninja, or sniper IA, but what I want is a generic script.
I want just normal enemies to not be so stupid. They fire once per minute, even setting the fire - rate to 1. They get stuck on walls. They sometimes seem as they're swimming in the air...
I can't make a decent game with them!

Please help me if you can.

Please, use real and helpuff topic names (subjects), to help out the next people who use search.

If you want a Smart AI i suggest you go mod to HL2 since it's the smartest AI ever done until now, in any commercial games.

If you want stupid AI, but at least better from the default one, you have Sensai AI wich comes out this month.

Intellimatter 2.0 is really good and simple AI, it's my 2nd choise I'ts still stupid, but, we don't have lot's of room on FPSC, so.....

My love is seperated in 2 parts, 1 of them is 3ds Max 7, the other; FPSC.

Heh, thanks. As long as we cant have a decent collitionsystem/collisiondetectionsystem its harder to make AI that doesnt run into walls. Just that would make a difference.

1)
to stop the swimming in mid air, open the manual and find out which animation is "get back up"

then open the character's FPE file and make the get up animation about 10 frames shorter.

2)
Making the rate of fire 1 will make them shoot slowly you silly billy! Setting the number higher makes them shoot faster. There are also some glitches in the default scripts that cause them to stop the enemy shooting. As a coupla people have said, my Sensei AI will solve this. I'm having some problems, but the basic generic scripts will be out around the 24th of this month.

3)
To stop characters getting stuck on walls you can always lower the "losetarget" value, that way lowering the time it takes an entity to "give up", on chasing you through a wall!

Hope that helps. You'll be able to get sensei in 12 days anyway.

by the way, I love the fact you typed firts instead of First. Everyone makes typos, but that kinda sounds like a rude word... Like a really country person saying "farts"

are you french BTW? I noticed you say IA instead of AI. Intellegence artificial?

OK, I think I'll wait for Sensei. Meanwhile I'll use that Intellimatter.

Would use HL2 AI, but I don't know where to find it...

DJ Professor K, I knew you were talking about Half Life 2. What I don't know is where to find it's AI, and how to put it in a FPSC game. (I believe it's not the same extension or same commands )
