I'm making a new land painter for Worldmaker. It will make more interesting landscapes and also be easier. You can use a height map or not (makes one from the matrix). Any comments or suggestions?

Screenshot example (so far)- 1024x1024 texture, 50x50 matrix, no height map, 5 minutes:

That link is broken.
EDIT: Not anymore, it looks OK, but the texture looks way too highly scaled; try scaling down the texture, and adding some noise to the terrain would be good, cos at the mo they seem a little too smooth.
Keep it up though.

here's another example with increased detail on the filter. Any combination of textures and colors can be used.

Yeah, I agree about the detail, but that looks good nonetheless.
