I just got my site all set up and got it in my sig. So I'd like to know what people think of it. Jeku already had a few complaints in another thread about it. So I'd like more opinions. Please be specific, do not say "it sucks". Tell me why it sucks. The link is in my sig.

If you fix the background, it would look awesome. I love the cartoony look.

The site is unreadable with the background, and makes me want to squirm, make the background less bright. Background images are best when they're soft, not screaming out at you

My head esplode.

Bad background. Yellow on white is probably a hangable offence too.

Were is the yellow on white? Do you mean the links? Where is the white behind them?

Is anyone else having problems getting to it? 'cause I am! It seems to think that the site is http://forum.thegamecreators.com/www.vincethevet.com

Yea, have to manually get rid of the gamecreators part. Try and modify it in your profile

Ah... AH!!!! Does anyone know how to maybe make the site know what browser it's being run on? And how to make a non-repeating background in FireFox?

Another question. Does anyone else see my banner?

I can't read it. The enter page has red text over a background that contains red, so some characters blend into the background. On the main page I can't read the text because it's black on a very dark background.

Ben: are you using FireFox? 'cause it ain't working to hot right now.

Anyway, I got the color problem fixed. But it's still repeating.

Yay, I've fixed the background. Now my centering wont center my pictures.

The sig has always worked fine for me. I'm using Firefox. It's much better, but the link is still yellow on white. Which is unpleasant to say the least. Once clicked, the links (i.e. visited links) go red instead. The fonts on the main.html page look too small, or something - they seem grainy and harder to read than they should be. The red on the khaki-green is also kind of hard to read - the red just makes my eyes bubble.

Good luck.

Well at least the background is fixed. Getting right on that yellow thing.

[edit] ok, yellow thing fixed.

[edit]@ Tinkergirl: Is the main page text better now?

Can't tell - now that I've clicked on it, the link is considered visited, so I can't tell the difference.

Hey Manticore,

I might as well respond to your email in this thread. When I said it gives me a migraine was due to the repeating texture, but now that you've fixed it the site seems fine to me.

the red text on your buttons with a baby poo green is about the worst part left to fix.
the red vibrates so much its almost illegible.

Sorry to bump this really old thread. But I figured I might as well use an old one instead of make a new one. My sig hasn't been showing up anywere. I mean when I look at this forum it never shows up. Also when I go on the newgrounds forum my sig uploaded on their server and it still doesn't work. It's gif file. I was wondering if this is happening to anyone else and how they fixed it. (PS doesn't work in Fire Fox or IE)

i can see your sig too and go to your site. I think that its pretty good(Better than anything i could have done). One thing i think you should change is that light purpilish background color. Other than that, looks fine.
