MODs feel free to lock this, I know it's not 100% relevant.

I just think that the script forum is a bit... slow. There doesn't seem to be much of a flow of people, and there are far more requests than creative posts.

Of late, the models and media forum has seen a big rise in the number of excelent models being made and the competency of it's visitors.

I thought perhaps a small scripting comp would maybe get more people involved with scripting. I'd throw some models+media in as prizes, if a MOD would help organise.

Just putting it out there, I don't want flaming!

Im always down for user run compettitions.

after you get it more organized and get more specifics up, i wouldent mind throwing up E.C.S. pro as a prize.

Airslide brought this up in the V1.03 RC1 thread and I just had time to test it. In case anyone missed it, I just wanted to let you know that it works.

SCANCODEKEYPRESSED=X is true when X=the key code of a pressed key

Example: SCANCODEKEYPRESSED=5 is true when the TAB key is pressed

Now we have more keys to play with.

Well, If I knew about scripting, I would sure join the competition.

Nice Idea! Would the competitors post their scripts so we can use in our own projects? (with their permission, of course)
