i accidentally made a new file when i wanted to open my existing file and ended up naming the new project the same as my file. now my file is empty, but i still have the working .exe that i built from the original .dbpro file. is there any way i can get my code back using the .exe?
i have already tried opening the .exe in dbpro but it comes up blank, but when i run the .exe the game works perfectly, so the code must be there somewhere.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

You could simply open the source file, and DBPro editor asks you if you want to make a project file. Or, you could create a new project, insert the source, and save as the same name as before. This is not a big deal because you should still have the source file...the DBA file, or a backup of it with a .bak extension in the project directory.

The .DBA is the source file. The executable does not contain the source file, only the code generated by it, as well as the DBPro runtime components it uses. Reversing that is called disassembly, and would not recreate your source file, only its structure.

If i recall theres a temp folder with a backup in the DBP folder structure if you havent opened another project since your accident.
