Hum.... that's pretty complicated if you don't yet know the basics of how to do it.
Basically, you could position your bullet object in front of your weapon object when the user presses whatever and then call some function that moves the bullet.
If you would like blast effects etc., you would have to.... yep, write even more functions

ok dude. if you cant do that, then slow down and start simpler . .read thru the tutorials, read the help files over and over again. its really not that complex if u take it all logically.

BUT i'll give ya a quick kick

o and btw, if your using DBC, then i have a matrix Editor program, Tho its not fully functional just yet. If your intersted av a gander in the WIP board for it, should b page 1 or 2. Havn't updated for a while.

Not really. You can load objects without having a matrix created. Technically,
a matrix is pretty much an object, just a specific one suited for making
a floor, ground, or whatever for all your other objects to be placed on. If you
own DBPro, you can also use terrains or BSPs for your 3D environment.

Depending on what you want the finished product to look like, you could start
with using the primitive object commands in DB to create your houses. Then just
load some images and texture away. The alternative would be to learn how to
3D model and then load them in.
