Having learned to model using Anim8or, I have a difficult time doing certain things in 3D - chiefly among them, animations and UV texturing. Right now, I'm not worried about animations, though - I don't need them. So, anyways:

I have just installed LithUnwrap, but I'm confused - I thought it unfolded the model so it looked like a bunch of faces laid out so that you could UV your model really easily. Obviously, I was mistaken. However, is there a program that does this? Or, is there another easy way to texture a model? (I'm talking about having a complex model and using one texture, taking bits and pieces of it on different parts of my model) Or, is my best bet to use vertexdata or memblocks to apply UV manually in my program?

Ah - thanks a ton! That was exactly what I was looking for...

And, I have to say to whoever moved this to the newcomer's board, I understand your logic, but I must say, I am NOT a noob. Just never used Lithunwrap before.
