Everyone starts out somewhere, but he starts in the negatives. But that recording tool is hard to use.

the band i play in is locally "famous". almost any youth here (that go out alot and know what's going on in town) will probably know about our band. why? because we got a reputation for being the worst band ever ahwell, we have ended up in the newspaper a few times. but they never write anything good, and they spell my name wrong all the time. one time they compared us with the sex pistols, i allways knew we played horrible, but sex pistols is one of the best bands there is :/

nobody listen to punk any more.
everybody here listen to Techno or emo crap like good charlotte.
a few listen to rap but they are not norwegian.

I am utterly discusted that this is a WAV file. Uploading a WAV instead of an MP3, is like uploading a BMP instead of a JPG, but when you've finally downloaded the BMP, you find that it's just filthy animal porn. That's how bad uploading a WAV is!!! Its unforgivable. It's out and out lunacy. Even while I type this random rubbish, I'm still waiting for the track I clicked play on 3 minutes a go to actually start!!!

Ok, enough WAV bashing.

I will wait patiently ...

Ok, off to bed now.

Your friend has a very weird taste in music... I don't quite know what that was supposed to be, but I can tell you it wasn't good.

Here's my first ever recording done with audacity (attached), bad quality though, my mic doesn't work, but I can use a pair of headphones as a mic , weird I know, but it works.

It has some tracks with distortion, and some that are set to acoustic.

That was good for a first recording, but using headphones as a mic... How did you find out that worked?

Headphones have diapragms too... just backwards its definitely not good for recording though, I would suggest going direct or use a $3 PC mic if you had to, but headphones just aint worth it.

Dude, I beg to differ.

On any typical day, you might find Oddmind in bed with at least two members of the opposite sex and with at least three syringes and with at least thirty meters of bubble wrap. His morals are not awfully strict. There's a sublimal message burned into the brain of every computer musician - "thou shalt not relent unto satan by using wav when thy distrubites thy workes."

@Zotoaster - You know if you use some noise reduction and eq tools then you can get your track sounding a hell of a lot better, ive attatched a version ive cleaned up for you. If you post an mp3 version of Torsten Sorensen track ill have a go at that (so long as it isnt too bad )

I don't need mine to be cleaned, bacause the way I record puts the guitar through a digital amp for a better sound and goes directly to my pc and a guitar recording app. So its as clean as it really could be.
