Ok its finaly happened, one of my hard drives has gone belly up. MBR/ boot partition garbled.I have tried a couple of the partition repair software's with no luck.
So i now need to recover files before i mess drive up completly by using software which don't work(yes the two i tried could undo their work ,but do they completly) as there are a few things i realy would hate to lose on this drive as not backed up for a couple of mounths stupid me!
Before i spend out anymore money and find no good can anyone recommend a good file recovery program i can buy.Peferably one you have used yourself.

I've had success with GetDataBack

Recovered an entire hard drive with similar problems as yours.
