Ah, I know this'll fly down the first page faster than a locked thread fully of profanity, but I wanted to show this, because (although I only did an hour on it tonight) it's looking pretty cool.

As you know, all the weapons in FOTF are neo-future and fictional. Kind of based on the minimi or SAW support weapon, but (in the story) it's made by the same company that makes the combat rifle, so if you've played the FOTF demo, you'll see the similarities.

Anyway. Comments Crit and suggestions? All would be appreciated.

2 levels completely done (video,music,built,menus and everything). Still got 3 more levels to finish. I'm afraid it won't come in for september. But I'm not going to rush. I want it to be really good.

Thinking of releasing a few multiplayer levels. Play Scarlet Hammer versus North Korean militia... watch this space as they say!!

well you know, it's not a scifi game as such, it's near future.

I just kind of felt that every next game has you shooting AKs and M16s and Glocks and so on, and I just thought you never get that "oh my god what is that thing he's shooting at me?" feeling anymore! So I went for doing my own. I dunno, it lets me be more creative I guess. It's like the difference between painting an accurate depiction of a landscape, and just making one up. Both take alot of skill, and it's all down to personal preference.

I'm gonna go work on it right now, so expect some updates later on tonight.

finished texturing and animating.

I did the green texture first, but I didn't like how it looked in-game (damn FPSC messing with my textures..), so I remade it with a gunmetal instead.

Gonna keep the green one for when your shooting it mounted on a humvee

whadda you think?
