Hello again everyone.
I've just finished the latest weapon to go in my pack, and this time is is the USA's M4A1 Carbine.
I apolagise for the poor screenshot - I rushed it to get it on before work. I will post some more when I get home, and as always please tell me what you think!

Yours in Gaming,
Dan.

the texture is a little blurry, but the mesh is good. It could just be the screenie though, look forward to seeing the update image

When I saved the Jpeg, I may have saved the quality as low (One of Photoshops more useful options )

looks good man, I think the texture still seems a bit fuzzy. almost like a cloth. but other than that it looks good. keep at it man!

Wow you are the Jon Fletcher of new modelers. That is so good! Im trying to get myself up to your level, but thats hard. Your so good, but the texture is a bit fuzzzy.

Nice work, Smitho.

You might want to revisit the gasblock/front sight post area a little.

Looking foreward to seeing some in-game shots of your work.

Nice work, Smitho."

Thank you all, I appreciate your comments.

As for the pointers about the texture, I will revisit the texturing sometime, since so many people have pointed it out, despite me not being able to see it :S

I'm hopefully going to have a go animating them before I get them in-game

Rail Interface System. Thats the airsoft term for it though.

Rail Adapter System (RAS) is the more common term for it. Google "KAC RAS" or SOPMOD. They're used to attach stuff like lasers and vertical foregrips.

Check out Jon's M4A1... The rail cluster replacing the standard forearm is what Samuli is talkin' about.
