Corect me if I am wrong, but can't you already do that?

If not, I think sensei does that, although I haven't tried.

Try reading up on it - read the manual, search the forums or :

Backup your FPSC scripts - then try opening deafult enemy script files in notepad and reading them. At the top of the files theres a description of what each does.

If you cant do that much try changing the script files attached to the enemies in editor - test run and watch what each makes the enemy do - no better way to learn and find a suitable script for your needs.

Lastly - try attaching the file pace.fpi to your character as the main script and make sure you give the character a shoot script too.

This belongs in the scripting forum.

add the line

to the follow.fpi script.

On the other hand you could just use Pace.fpi as the main script. as described in the manual. That follow a waypoint until one of three conditions is satisfied

1)the entity is shot
2) the player is seen
3) the player is heard

when one of these is fulfilled, the entity will run whatever scriptyou put in the shoot script field of it's properties.
