i see alot of posts about online games not being possible and i have to ask, can it be done. i am making a ww1 flight sim and it would be great if i could make it multiplayer. does anyone know of a way to allow someone to find someone else who is hosting a game??

i am using db classic.

I think you can make a multiplayer game in dbp but not in dbc.

there are multiplayer commands in dbc or there are in mine anyway

Multiplayer Games are certainly possible in DarkBasic v1 however... DarkBasic 1.x Standard IS NOT Capable of Multiplayer Games
DarkBasic 1.1x Enhanced IS

this is where the major confusion comes in becuase DarkBasic Standard & Enhanced keep being refered to as Dark Basic Classic, when they are two very different versions of the same product.

Kinda like Borland C++ and Microsoft C++, essentially yeah the same language ... however one has so many enhancements over the other sometimes you wonder why people waste thier time with it.

if you don't own Dark Matter which the Enhancement Upgrade is packaged with, download the 1.13 Patch from DarkBasic.co.uk and use the enhancements for upto 30days for free and unhindered.
