Im looking for a new game to get. I was hopping someone could recommend one to me.My favorites aspects of games include:
1)Sneak/Stealth
2)Fantasy
3) Non-Linear
4)Role PLaying (but only when the fighting is controled by th player, and not depending on his level)
5) Smart A.I is always nice

Here a list of the best ten games I,ve ever played
1) Thief III - Deadly Shadow
2) Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion
3) Fable -The Lost Chapters
4) Thief - Dark Project
5) Gothic 2
6) Rome Total War
7) War Craft III Reign of Chaos/Frozen Throne
8) Civilizations IV
9) Medal of Honor Allied Assault
10)Dragon Shard

I would like someone to recommend a game that matches the things above (piz dont say other games of the same series like elder scrolls III). I've been searching for the perfect game and I hope someone can help.thanx

Oblivion beats them all, but since you've already played it, I have no recommendations really...Rome: Total War is also the best RTS IMO.

Pirates of Port Royale
Live the life of a pirate.

Um... Metal Gear Solid fills the stealth and smart AI features requests, Resident Evil 4 falls under smart AI and fantasy, although both are pretty linear and neither is an RPG.

Although Legend of Zelda fits all of those except stealth, unless you're real picky on counts as an RPG. The easiest to get ahold of is probably Wind Waker, although there's a new one comming out in a few months, Twilight Princess, that's going to have a darker atmosphere and a more mature look to it. But for what's currently out, if you can get a chance to play Ocarina of Time that is the type of game that you can call a true classic.

Prince of Persia (All 3, plus the original classics I used to play when I was young)
Final Fantasy I-X, and maybe these if I play them XI XII XIII (X2 was crap)
Animal Crossing
Sonic (All of them)
Zelda (The whole lot)
Thief (I haven't played the first one, but the second two are awesome)
Age of Empires (I don't play many RTS games, this is probaly the only one AOE III is great I think)
Call of Duty 2 (Not much of a war game fan, but I'm addicted to the demo already)
Half Life 2 (Ditto to Cod2 but in the sense of FPS games)

Stealth you say? Then I can recommend the Splinter Cell games, the are really my favourite stealth games. The AI is really clever as well.

EDIT: And you can pick lots of different routes through the levels in Chaos Theory, so it's not very linear.

Sounds like you'll be looking forward to Assassin's Creed as much as I am then. It basically ticks all your requirements, although the setting (12th Century) isn't really filled with typical sword/sorcery fantasy. It has quite a lot of historical accuracy, but I like that.

This obviously is the intro movie, but from the screenies, it's not actually too far off the graphics in game (they have the same feel), and this is the general idea of how it'll play. i.e. Have a target, find them, eliminate them, potentially in a crowd of people and then escape. Apparently it has some sort of RPG elements and non-linearity to the story. Not sure how, but looks good to me. Good vid here:

And even better in this interview ...

Btw, I've heard its not just on PS3. Apparently on the 360 and PC too.

Wait for Bioshock - set in a sci-fi 1930's underwater 'utopia' gone horribly wrong. It's by the same people as System Shock I/II so there's a good chance you'll be able to stealth your way through.

That, and you'll get to see Mr Bubbles...

thanx for all the recomendation, I have already played splinter cell games and find them pretty fun, but metal gear solid doesnt really catch my attention, as for prince of persia looks pretty good but i heard it was incredibaly easiy and linear. Assasin's Creed looks amazing, I'll definetly look into it. Just to mention the most important aspects to me were fantasy role playing (non linear) and stealth (mainly fantasy or medieval). once again thanx for the recommendations. They all looked like pretty good games

i think i will get assasin's creed when it comes out, but you guys reminded me how good oblivion was. the only thing that bothered me was that if you were spotted there was no way to become undetected agian, so i'll just get the mod that fixes this and maybe more mods (by the way does anyone know any good oblivion mods). Also for those of you who have not heard this yet, Elders Scrolls V has been anounced.
Thanx for the help
