I there a forum update in progress? Cause when I go to get some of my old threads (Pages 2 or 3) It says that a forum update is in progress and to please bear with us (The forum). Is it true or is it a bug?

Can you be more specific? I can page through 'My Threads', and multi-page threads, without any problems. Please give me an example.

"Don't ping my cheese with your bandwidth" (Dilbert)

I had the same problem about 10-15 mins ago Rich. Clicked post while replying, and got a blank page. Clicked back to retry and I got a white screen just saying something about PHP stuff and a forum update in progress. 30 seconds later, all was well again.

Nah that is unrelated to the original message. The 'problem' you had was me taking the site down to install PHP 4.4.4, which took about 10 minutes

It's happened to me sometimes on this site, and other sites. I'm not sure what it is, but something tells me it could be to do with the stylesheet file not loading.

I supposedly have two pages but get the message when going to page two. It's been like that for months.

I get that a couple of times a week, i just restart a new browser window and it seems to cure it.
must be due to the user session management.

This post is not related to the specific problem mentioned in this thread, but is something I just wanted bring up.

Occasionally some very old thread will appear, so old that it has been locked long ago, and it will be highlighted that there is a new post in this thread, when no new post exists. If you check the whole thread and go back to the board, it will still show that it has new posts. The only way I've found to make it "go away" is to hit the "mark all as read" link.
