Hi @all.

I think i managed to build my first reasonable game character.
I need him for my scifi game, i am going to build.
He is not finished yet and perhaps i can get some help.
I need to do some texture adjustment (my main problem are the legs, the texture does not match correctly as you can see from the side view).
Next step will be animation. Perhaps someone can help me here (i am using gamespace 1.6 and true space 6.6). Is there any way to use the milkshape skeleton with fpsc animation (there was a ms version with gs)?
As soon as he is finished, i will release him for free and any use,
a little donation for the help i always get in this forum.

greets

its a good model, shame about the texture though, i do believe you can use an ms skeleton, but im not sure, its probably better to make your own skeleton anyway, as it will fit better (riging wise) and you can make the anims unique and more realistic

Thanks.

@screwed over - do you mean same or shame about the texture?
i asked about the ms skeleton, because its already animated with the standart animation. i can load the skeleton in gs, but the animation is gone.
The problem with unique animation is, that i have no reference how to get it working in fpsc. Such things like -how many frames per animation/ what animations do i need, where to name the animation for the scrips. perhaps someone knows where a tut to find. I tried searching the board, but it seems like these infos are in the english manual, i have the german version, wich is different.

Oh ohhh.

The camoflage needs a little adjustment, i know.
I was just playing around with a photoshop plugin that creates camoflage. I want to create a futuristic urban one but i think i have to change it a little.

generally you cant import anims from other file types, which is irritatng when tryin 2 make cut scenes. so you would need 2 reanimate the skeleton.

btw i ment shame not same

I kinda like the model overall. Texture could, of course, use some work, but for a first model, it's definitely impressive.
