I TRIED to play silkroad once. I say 'tried' because it was sooooooooooo incredbily laggy that it literally was pumping out 1 frame every few seconds making it impossible to play. Visually, it was a very appealing game.

On any account, welcome back.

Silkroad online is "free 2 play", however, for "additional" items that are used to increase speed of leveling, special packs of potions, attack, deffence increase scrolls, and other things in "item mall" have to be payed with a virtual currency which is called silk, and say 50 silk > 5 USD. I also wouldnt suggest downloading it with dial up or low speed internet connection, you may also experience extremely high ammount of "disconnected from the server" messages before you can eaven get to log in sometimes. ^^

BTW if anyone actually plays this game and is on greece server my name is ieifood there(IeiFood).

But the whole point anyways is that you wont get much further then lv 50 without "silk" if you dont have a few lives to spend, i gone to lv 45 without it, then got to lv 53 with help from it, and then got to lv 57 without it...

Thanks. I'll download it, and then I'll have played an mmo besides runescape.

And my internet connection is insanely fast... fiber optic cable or something... anyways, I shouldn't have trouble with that.

I'll look for you when I go on.
