Just draw the lines, hit Play and watch the little man go! So addicting!

Some people have had problems running it in IE.

It is fun, especially when you make a little ramp and launch him off it.

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

I managed to get him to do a loop where he spins completely around, then he lands again without breaking. But since there's no eraser tool (yet) I can't make the little guy keep going

Cool game.

It's a drag that it was designed to only work on a 1024x768 or higher resolution.

Has anyone got him off a double loop? or is that impossible sinse it seems that he smashes into the lines after every loop

tis cool ^_^ i love that lil sled guy... although it seems quite buggy if it hits a sharp angle or you add to your lines after the first simulation.

i got mine down a long slope (of segments and jumps) then at the end it flicks up and back a bit sending him into a backflip into a small v shape where he lands perfectly and stops without falling off. would be easier to draw a straight frack with a tablet though lol, it's quite hard with a mouse.

You can get him through the loops by leaving a little space he has to jump to enter the loop.

Yah that's exactly what I was trying to do today! Some friends and I were busy at work (pretending to be busy doing work that is) trying to get the guy to do a loop, land, then continue on. The only way to do it is to put a hole in the track and have the little dude land without breaking, and then slide through the hole again. I just did it on my first try when I got home, but nobody to prove it to

What a lot of fun ... I've just lost 2 hours of my life with this!
I managed to get him to do a backward flip followed by a forward flip then finally slowing to a halt ... Fantastic!

Crying shame about the lack of erase though!

Hey, that was cool! If there's an interest in this, I should rerelease my Speeder game, with a slight revamp. It was basically the same thing, but with 5 cars speeding over a landscape and blowing up. I still have a short vid of it. Very similar 2D physics as this. Obviously mine comes with a kick ass sound track. Later I did a version with big fat Cartman style skiiers going down a snowy mountain, but without engines so you had to make sure they didn't run out of steam.

Check it out here.

Just checked out YouTube for videos of Line Rider. I stumpled over this one here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=769zkwgqn_I&mode=related&search=

That's a pretty amazing ride!

[EDIT]

@Jeku:

That's a pretty cool ride you've build there I tried to build somekind of a loop myself, but it didn't go very well

@The Nerd - That is amazing!!! Looks like the guy didn't make very many mistakes (you can tell with multiple line segments in the same area). Wow.

Actually, I didn't even gave that a thought when watching the movie! Now that I've just watched it again, I noticed how few mistakes he actually had. Pretty amazing!

You cannot erase parts, HOWEVER, you can save and reload if you make a mistake.

Unless saving/loading doesn't work. I haven't tested it personally.

The trial version of Camtasia works for 30 days--- you can select any region of your screen and record it, then export it to all manner of formats (including Flash FLV movie like I did). It's great

That is indeed quite addicting, but it still doesn't beat falling sand.
