Hope this doesn't break any rules or anything, but I have a friend that bought 2 copies of DarkBASIC Professional. One for himself and one for a friend that bailed on the purchase. He's hawking it cheap on ebay, it's brand new and sealed still. It's the newer version with all the free goodies. He's just trying to recoup some of his expenses, and by no means trying to gouge anyone and especially not TGC as they already got paid. If anyone is interested, they can put in a snipe bid at the end of this auction and win it for $70.00 US. He's only willing to ship it to Canada or the United States. All the details are in the auction.

Only 36 hours left untill the end of the auction. Good chance for someone in north america to get DBP brand new and sealed at a discount price.

Ebay not liked on a geek populated forum?

I suppose you're gonna say "WoW isn't very popular with the MMO crowd" next?

I would buy it to give away, but you have caught me at a time when several, several unforseen expenses have rained upon me. If he still has it at the first of February I'll buy it. Thats about as soon as I can promise though. Hopefully he'll sell it, but if not look me up then.

Posting an ebay item here is fine. It's in the geek culture board. I asked already, just to make sure. It's an item that was bought from TGC and paid for. He's selling it for less than what he paid, so he's not price gouging. It's a full sealed version direct from TGC. He's not trying to rip anyone off, and he only takes paypal from a paypal verified account. This is for buyer/seller protection. He's not a bad person.

Anyways, I made extra sure not to tread on anyone's feet when I posted.

I didn't read anywhere that it was bad, infact I just read buyer beware stuff and make sure you use paypal if you do in the latest newsletter.

If he still has it in Feb Lost In Thought I'll let you know. He's kind of in the same boat. Lots of crazy expenses all happening at the same time.

hehe...WoW...If I ever got into it...it would just be to buy the game and pay some korean to farm gold for me so I could ebay the account. I believe the gold farm's are the exact same people who tween the animation for the Simpsons...

You happily forgot my finale clause:
"well posts about items selling on it..."
