Im working with mod plug I did the tutorial. Could someone tell me how If I can plot notes out in an easier way.Basically like an onscreen keyboard where you can preview your notes before you choose them.I know Fruity loops does something like this. I really need a simpler way to do this its taking forever trying to figure out which notes and chords I want to hit throught the drop-down menu thanx!

Use the shortcut keys!

The default shortcuts are something like,
c2-c3 = q to \ (top row of keys qwertyuiop[])
c3-c4 = a to ' (middle row of keys asdfghjkl;')
c4-c5 = z to / (bottom row of keys zxcvbnm,./)

so to input a c major chord (ceg), hit "a" in the first columm, "g" in the second column, and "k" in the third column.

However, I prefer to use FT2 shortcuts, where
"a" = c
"w" = c#
"s" = d
etc. etc. and then use the number keys 1-0 to select octave

The second method is the way FL does it, and I prefer it because it's much easier than thinking your way through all the keys a halfstep at the time.
