Hi all,

Issue 45 of the TGC newsletter is now out. Actually we sent this issue out a couple of days early, but it's the 1st of October today so I figured I'd post about it here.

This issue contains:

& the standard 'loads more'

Read it online here: http://www.thegamecreators.com/data/newsletter/newsletter_issue_45.html

Great newsletter Rich, and a big thanks for the review of Berzerk. One small thing though, its spelt incorrectly. Lots of people seem to be spelling the name wrong though, so don't lose any sleep over it

Dark Shader sounds very interesting.

It's only for G3 owners, and if you have G3 it will be in your orders page.

The Dark Shader seems to be looking good! Im kind of hoping for somthing like Genetica which is a node based texture creator.

Thanks for releasing G2, it is really amazing.

Edit:

Is there anyway to export a tree model from G2 and generate the leaves on the tree in G3 and then texture everything in G3? It seems that the leaf placement is not as good. However if the branches are straighter it seems that it looks better.

Edit2: It seems they are almost the same, but I hope to see a better texturing system. That is where there seems to be a bit of a problem for me anyway.
