is there anything out there thats something like the "guarage Band" application exept for pc?

lol I just asked this a few days ago. And second off check your spelling. Audacity,Ejay and Fruity Loops are just three that come to mind. . Wonder if FredP has read this yet lol

I used garage band the other day to record a piano song with my laptop's built-in microphone. I'm quite surprised by the quality of how well that little hidden mic picked up the sound.

Although, garage band could use an mp3 or ogg exporter.

...this was already covered a few weeks ago. There was a thread moved here that was all about Garage Band, the various incorrect spellings of the aforementioned Garage Band, alternatives to the previously referenced reference to Garage Band, and tuna, I believe was also covered.

I use a combination of Ableton Live 5 and Cubase SX2 for my music creation. Check them out, very powerful. I recommend Ableton Live if you are new to PC recording as the user interface is much easier to understand.
