You obviously can't post to a CACHED forum--- for one they don't have the PHP code so nothing's going to get inserted into the DB

Heh, you can almost set your clock to when someone digs out an older version of the forum using some web archive. Although this version seems really quite new.....

Yes. A lot of us with 2002 as our joined date actually were around a lot earlier. Mainly because Rich didn't copy over our join dates from the original forum. I've been here since 2000. If I remember rightly it was about a week or so after Indi. Think I kept within striking distance of his post count for about a day

I browsed the forum casually then. Good times. Then I signed up. It seems to have gone downhill.

Yeah, they have gone downhill. Anyone remember the days when religious and political flamethreads were popping up like acne all over the place without getting locked? We like to call that period The Age of Mouse.

I miss that guy.

Quite possibly. But then again. Around the time I signed up, Drew G signed up. That might be a better relation.

Well you should have seen it when CMC 101 was wreaking havoc here, and the mods weren't able to delete posts/threads/ban/etc. There were threads popping up all over with big nuke images with "Ban him, Rich!" to get his attention
